Until the War is Over (revised 2019) one-act opera with librettist Jennifer Moxley, based on H.D.’s autobiographical novel Bid Me to Live. For 4 singers, flute, saxophone, double bass and piano. Excerpt from Scene 1 performed at “New in November” Hartford Opera Theatre, Nov. 2015, selections from scenes 1,3 and 4 performed at UMaine in June, 2016. Selected for workshop by the John Duffy Institute for New Opera, Virginia, March 2017.
Deeds (2002) one hour chamber opera, 5-characters. Act 1 of piano version premiered December 2002, UMaine Opera Workshop. Act 2 premiered at UMaine, May 2003. Recording session by Intermezzo Chamber Opera in 2006. Semifinalist in the Opera Vista Chamber Opera Competition, June 2007.
